| Probably the best online resource og the subjct of elecrtical circuits at Key Stage 2. The guide has five sections, each one with information, an activity and a quiz. - What makes circuits work - activity asks students to identify circuirs that will function and those that wont.
- Conductors and insulators - activity allows students to plce several items in a virtual circuit to see if they conduct electricity
- All about switches - activity asks students to classify objects by the number of switches that each one has.
- Changing circuits - activity allows students to swap and change components in a virtual circuit and observe the effect of the chanhes
- Circuit diagrams - activity requires students to match components names and images with the electrical symbols
The quiz sections award points which are totalled up and when a student has sufficient points he can print a certificate to say that he has completed the course. This is just brilliant |
